MARKETING ASSISTANT

It is the primary responsibility of the marketing assistant to help in the areas of content development, website maintenance, and campaign execution in support of company goals and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and schedule content for social media, eMail marketing, print ads, LinkedIn, website, and various advertising partner affiliations.
Understand the latest, most effective methods of utilizing various marketing platforms.
Create and administer an annual marketing calendar.
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to create marketing materials as needed
Assist in the administration of salemgym.com website
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in marketing coordination or similar role
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Working knowledge of website design and email software
Ability to use Canva
