It is the primary responsibility of the marketing assistant to help in the areas of content development, website maintenance, and campaign execution in support of company goals and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and schedule content for social media, eMail marketing, print ads, LinkedIn, website, and various advertising partner affiliations.
- Understand the latest, most effective methods of utilizing various marketing platforms.
- Create and administer an annual marketing calendar.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to create marketing materials as needed
- Assist in the administration of salemgym.com website
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience in marketing coordination or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Working knowledge of website design and email software
- Ability to use Canva
