At Iverson Auto in Mitchell, we are looking for a dedicated and quality-focused team member for our open role as Lube & Light Duty Technician.

Previous experience is NOT required, but is a plus! We will train the right person.

Duties Include:

• Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay aware of rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
