Vitalant is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you’ll get to:

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Lead continuous improvement by fostering teamwork, empowering staff and facilitating effective communication.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel as required
• Successful Completion of supervisory training program within six months
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
• Able to lift 40lbs
