Mad Hatter Garden Designs, located in Portland, Oregon is looking for full time, experienced gardeners. We are dedicated to ORGANIC gardening and specialize in high-end residential garden design, installation, and maintenance with a focus on plants. This is NOT a mow and blow crew.
The position requires at least 1 year experience in:
Tree, shrub, perennial and annual plant identification, care and pruning. Pest/disease identification and organic treatment.
General knowledge of irrigation systems operation and repair.
Operating electric-powered shears, string trimmer and backpack blower. Physically fit, comfortable working on a 10′ ladder, easily lift 50 lbs. or more.
Have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and a dependable vehicle. Fluent in spoken and written English, pass criminal history check and pruning test.

Hours: Spring/Summer Tuesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Fall/Winter Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30 p.m. Pay $18.00 – $24.00/hour DOE.
