Worthington Of Logan in Logan, OH is looking for one Laundry/Kitchen attendant to join our strong team. We are located on 72 W 2nd St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged. The ideal candidate will be working 2-3 days of Laundry and 2-3 days in the kitchen for a total of 4-5 days a week. Housekeeping hours are 6a-1:30pm, the kitchen 5:30a-1:30pm
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees.
Understand the operation of washing machines, dryers and maintain them as trained.
Load and unload washes according to standards.
Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
Pre-treat all stained linen before washing.
Sweep and mop laundry floors.
Fold towels and linens.
Maintain a clean work area.
Sort clean laundry according to type.
Strip Rooms of linens.
Remove trash from trash receptacles.
Stock Housekeepers carts throughout the day.
Other duties as Assigned.
Kitchen:
This position will start the day early in the morning by baking pastries, setting up our morning breakfast and interacting with guests. cleaning the kitchen and public areas. Other duties will include (but are not limited to) setting up breakfast stations, baking cookies, washing dishes, cleaning tables and chairs, cleaning floors and counters.
Qualifications
Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
