What will you do?

As a Junior eCommerce Analyst at firstmovr, your responsibilities would include:

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and auditing retailer sales data from eCommerce platforms.
• Analyzing data using Excel and Google Sheets , applying formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
• Drawing creative, actionable insights from data — for example, analyzing consumer behavior and recommending improvements to product detail pages (images, copy, structure) on Amazon or other retailers.
• Working across multiple client projects simultaneously , potentially with several brands at once.
• Collaborating closely with the firstmovr team and external stakeholders to manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Communicating professionally with senior-level client stakeholders , often with minimal guidance or oversight.
• Supporting both external client work and internal firstmovr initiatives , including ongoing research and tool development.
• Staying updated on best practices in eCommerce content optimization and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
• Leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT to develop assistants for content audits and optimization tasks.
  

Working hours:

• This is a full-time, 8-hour-per-day remote position .

• If you're in North/South America (EST preferred) : Work a clean 8-hour block, ideally from 9 am to 5 pm EST.

• If you're in Europe : Work hours should overlap enough with EST mornings to accommodate client and internal syncs.

• Flexibility and time zone alignment are important, but we don’t require late evening or split shifts.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience . 

• Fluent English , with no grammar or pronunciation issues — you’ll regularly speak with native U.S. clients.

• Excellent attention to detail — your job is to spot inconsistencies, errors, and optimization opportunities others miss.

• Strong skills in Google Sheets and Excel — you're confident with data manipulation, not afraid of formulas, and can organize data clearly.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics , or a related field.

• Ability to think creatively based on data — not just analyzing but generating product, content, and marketing insights that improve performance.

• Confidence to communicate with demanding, senior stakeholders — you don’t get flustered on tough calls.

• Self-sufficient — you can manage your time, follow through without hand-holding , and are proactive about finding solutions.

• A structured thinker who can describe business processes and consumer trends in a clear and concise way.

• A team player with ideas — we value people who speak up, share input, and improve how we work.

• Strong organization and prioritization skills — you don’t let details or deadlines slip.
