This position is for the IT Tech Specialist in the Commercial Navigation Software team reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager, Commercial Navigation Software.
As an IT Tech Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems specific to Comm Nav Software. Your expertise in IT hardware and software will be crucial in resolving technical issues and maintaining the efficiency of our technology infrastructure. You will report directly to our Senior Software Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our MN17 location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the productivity and effectiveness of our organization by ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware (legacy and next gen) and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
• Submit IT tickets and be the POC for coordinating IT tickets with the global IT/CMADS team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
• Document and maintain IT procedures and processes.
• Other relevant tasks as assigned by the manager.

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000--$80,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in IT technical support or a related role.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT hardware and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and a High school DImploma 

WE VALUE

• Experience with DevOps toolchains and working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as    Bamboo/Docker/Jenkins etc. 
• Tool scripting experience in python, bash etc.  
• Experience with multiple Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux.  
• Certifications in relevant IT technologies.
• Experience in providing customer support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
