The overall mission of the Investigator position is to create a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors, as well as prevent or minimize losses to the Project. To achieve this, the major functions of this position include the investigation of crimes against the Project, the investigation of violations of the Project’s internal policies, and conducting Personal Risk Assessments (background investigations). Confidentiality is required, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of all levels, both inside and outside of the organization.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the law enforcement professions, with an emphasis in prior investigative experience.
Must have and maintain, in the State of Arizona, the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) certification; or obtain, and maintain certification within 6 months of hire. Must be psychologically qualified to carry a firearm.
Senior Level Investigator requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Level 2; and certification as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Threat Manager (CTM), or 4 years’ experience at Level 2 and no additional certification/s.
Completion of an Associate's degree, Apprenticeship, or 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
