Intune Consultant (contract)

Location: Canada (remote)
Duration: 3+ months, with potential for full-time employment

About the role:

Our client, a non-profit entity, is seeking an Intune Consultant (contract) for an immediate, 3+ month contract role with potential for full-time employment. As an Intune Consultant, you will play a critical role to ensure the security, compliance, and efficient management of the client’s devices and applications. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day running and maintenance of Intune, acting as the client’s in-house expert. Along the way, you will also be a part of:

• Device management: Support TSA's to enroll and manage a diverse range of devices into MS Intune, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. Act as an in-house expert, providing support to stakeholders.
• Device compliance and configuration policies: Configure device settings and policies to enforce security standards and user experience guidelines.
• Intune updates: Oversee device application management, staying current with the latest Intune features and capabilities and executing upgrades where required.
• Policy implementation and monitoring: Implement security policies and configurations to protect devices and data, inline with the client’s policies and risk profile. Implement device compliance policies to assess device health and security posture.

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in a technology role, with at least 1 year of experience as an Intune administrator or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune and its core functionalities.
• Experience managing device and application deployments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and threat landscape.
