The Industrials Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Associate. BGL’s growing Industrials team focuses on several key areas: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive & Automotive Aftermarket, Building Products, Engineered Equipment, Engineered Materials, Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution and Metals Processing / Advanced Manufacturing. This opportunity is open to either our Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management
• Performs financial analysis and modeling
• Conducts industry research and business due diligence
• Participates in marketing efforts
• Develop client presentation materials

Qualifications

• Three or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking
• Bachelor’s Degree required (majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting)
• Sell side M&A experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
• Proven track record of strong transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and organization skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines

Full-Time Salary Range $175,000 - $225,000 USD Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
