They are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join their team at their plant Northeast of Atlanta , GA .
Summary:
As the Industrial Engineer you will play a key role in optimizing production processes by evaluating workplace ergonomics, managing workflows, and driving efficiency through effective planning, process improvement, and time management strategies.
Tasks:
Analyze and assess the ergonomic layout of workstations and processes to improve efficiency.
Develop and maintain procedures for production planning, ensuring alignment with ABA tech standards.
Design workflows, create, and review detailed work instructions for streamlined operations.
Identify key factors influencing production time and create catalogs for time management and capacity evaluations.
Optimize production processes by applying industry best practices.
Contribute to the development, assessment, and implementation of new organizational strategies and workflows.
Lead and coordinate projects focused on time management and workforce capacity planning.
Drive continuous improvements in efficiency and quality throughout the production cycle.
Ensure the best use of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity.
Some travel: to tool makers national and international
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial , Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
3+ years of experience in production, with a focus on manufacturing technology, preferably in an automated environment.
Experience in project management with a focus on process optimization and automation.
Proficient in mathematical methods, simulation tools, and process modeling for efficiency improvements.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, systems, and industry trends.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IATF16949 and ISO14001.
High level of analytical skills and problem-solving expertise .
