Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people centric Human Resources Generalist to be the face of the department and to help us build and maintain a strong team member foundation that supports the business’ goals, vision and culture.   The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a variety of functions and will work directly with team members and the leadership team.

What We Need You To Do

• Build relationships with team members at all levels to understand their needs and act on them accordingly.
• A variety of duties including but not limited to the following:
  • Recruitment – full life cycle for a variety of positions
  • Team Member Development
  • Engagement Programs
  • Coaching / Training
  • Onboarding of New Hires

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Human Resources and/or relative work experience is required.
• HR Certification (SPHR / PHR) is preferred.
• 3-5 years of Human Resources experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proven track record of building strong relationships.
• Experience in all aspects of Human Resources (Employee Relations/Engagement/Development, Employment, Benefits & Compensation, Performance Management) is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner.
• Must be self-motivated, persistent, and have the ability to prioritize workloads.
• Experience using ADP is preferred but not required.

• Take a ride down the slide to get something from our snack bar, visit the Talladega tunnel turn complete with an actual NASCAR or maybe just admire Stan the full-sized T-Rex fossil
• Let your ideas percolate while practicing your golf skills on one of our VirtualGreens or FullSwing virtual driving ranges. If golf isn't your thing, play one of Mozart's favorite games, billiards. Better yet, start a friendly shuffleboard or video game battle before you visit the Virtual Reality room to round out your afternoon.
