**Overview** GovCIO is currently hiring a Facilitation and Strategy Advisor to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Candidates must have VA experience as a senior level advisor in a dynamic environment. This position will be fully remote located within the United States. **Responsibilities** + Finalize and publish the Rationalization & Decommissioning Roadmap, streamlining IT assets and reducing redundancy to optimize resources for Veteran services. + Deliver a product-focused roadmap, ensuring each capability is aligned with a single product, simplifying delivery and improving operational efficiency across PDS. + Coordinate priority standardization initiatives across OIT executives, eliminating organizational silos to reduce duplication and ensure alignment with OIT's Utility and Platform strategies. + Align PDS and IO efforts on OIT's containerization strategy, driving cost savings and operational efficiency by leveraging modern tech infrastructure. + Oversee Strike Team activities and integrate their work into OIT operations, ensuring continuous support and enhancement of PDS systems to better serve Veterans. **Qualifications** **Required Skills and Experience** + Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. + 13+ years of experience + 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education + Knowledge of architecture concepts + Experience working in Jira and SharePoint + Product delivery experience within IT organizations + Strong analytical and investigative skills + Must be able to identify and mitigate program risks, and escalate risks as necessary + Must be a problem solver **Clearance Required:** + Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability / Public Trust clearance **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
