Location: Houston, TX (On-site – Must work from the office) Work Type: In-person (strictly on-site) We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale community functions. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with the Events Coordinator to help ensure that all aspects of the events run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing events from conception to execution.
• Coordinate logistics such as catering, venue selection, and equipment rentals.
• Manage event registrations and maintain participant lists.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
• Assist with marketing efforts for events, including the creation of promotional materials and social media posts.
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
