Job Overview High Grade Concrete & Excavation LLC is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team in residential construction. As an Equipment Operator, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to complete excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation. This role is perfect for someone who has operated machinery before in similar environments-or for someone with a mechanical mindset who's eager to learn our systems and processes.

- Perform site grading, trenching, backfilling, and other excavation tasks
- Ensure proper machine function through pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance
- Read plans, grade stakes, or blueprints to guide machine work
- Safely maneuver equipment around residential properties with limited access
- Collaborate with the foreman and crew to keep job sites on schedule
- Maintain clean equipment and report any issues immediately
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Qualifications - Previous experience as an Equipment Operator in construction or excavation preferred
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Ability to read site plans and perform excavation work with accuracy
- Mechanically inclined and safety-conscious
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a crew
- Physically capable of operating equipment for extended periods and working outdoors

Schedule - Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts only
- Overtime may be available
- Home every night
