**Position Overview**
We are looking for a Legal Administrator to join our team. This entry-level position is an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to our operations while assisting taxpayers with their inquiries. You will play a vital role in ensuring our law firm runs smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Review files and prepare correspondence as assigned
- Answer and return phone calls from property owners, negotiate payment plan terms, and recommend hardship considerations
- Create and monitor payment plan modules
- Understand and adhere to office policies to ensure compliance
- Develop proficiency in client nuances
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred; however, 1-3 years of experience in collections may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable learning new software
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofreading materials
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining professional relationships with a diverse group of individuals
- Dependable, with a strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
The physical demands of this position include regular sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as standing, walking, and using hands to operate office equipment.
