Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

• Perform labscale downstream processing of vaccine products and process intermediates
• Prepare solutions/reagents and sample submissions to analytical partners
• Setup process equipment for labscale experiments
• Maintain laboratory inventory of chemicals and consumables
• Maintain records and experimental results following good laboratory practices (GLP)
• Secondperson review of experimental notebooks and technical documents
• Communication of scientific information through oral presentations and written documents

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Handson expertise with downstream unit operations (i.e. centrifugation membrane filtration chromatography etc.) and process development for large molecules
• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
• Proven ability to work independently in handson laboratory setting

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directlyrelated experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one fulltime year of college in related major)

• Handson experience with pilot scale (50L) downstream unit operations (e.g. centrifugation membrane filtration such as TFF NFF UFDF chromatography etc.) and process development of large molecules

• 0 2 Years of industry experience

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

• Position is fulltime Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA are encouraged to apply.
