Job Description

Job Summary:  

Daycare attendants support the dogs throughout shift during their stay at the club including play/interaction, feeding, medications and cleaning up after our dogs to ensure a safe, healthy, and sanitized space. 

Essential functions and responsibilities: 

• Supervising groups of dogs; engage pups with play activities. 

• Clean-up after dogs and sanitizing club areas. 

• Preparing meals 

• Preparing and administering medications 

• Accurately and consistently tracking and logging feedings, medication administration. 

• Reporting health concerns to other members of the team (Member Services) 

• Adhering to safety protocols 

• Communicating effectively with members 

• Conducting yourself in a manner that is in the best interest of members and PUPS team members. 

• Representing PUPS in a professional, and positive manner 

Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 

• Ability to function well independently and at times stressful environment. 

Education and Experience:  

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Customer Service Oriented 

• Pet Care experience and or training preferred. 

• Basic computer experience. 

• A love for dogs. 

Physical Requirements:   

• Standing or walking for long periods of time. 

• Kneel, Bend or twist their body. 

• Able to safely lift dogs of up to 50 lbs.
