Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian Nutritionist to join a team of Dietitians at the flagship hospital located in Pinehurst, NC. This 400+ acute care community hospital system is a rewarding environment that provides comprehensive nutrition assessments with a collaborative team effort.

Daily duties include but are not limited to: Medical Nutrition Therapy for a variety of medical conditions and critical care services, order-writing privileges, multi-disciplinary rounding, quality/performance improvement activities, enteral access device team, and precepting dietetic interns. Clinical Ladder advancement opportunity available.

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

What You'll Do

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• work every 8 th weekend providing hospital wide coverage

• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses
• assist with Food Service Management as needed

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in NC
• strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
