Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Dental Assistant. You will be responsible to the operation of dental practice by providing support to dentists, assisting with patient care, and performing a range of clinical and administrative tasks.

Job Description

• Assists in providing dental services including: preparing patients for exam/treatment; sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment, mixing amalgams, cements, composites, taking dental x-rays, maintaining records, performing assigned lab procedures. 

Skills Required

• At least 1 year of experience in role.
• Experience as a receptionist or clerk in a dentist's office is not acceptable towards meeting the qualification requirements.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish/Russian)

Education/Training/Certifications

• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent, including or supplemented by a course of study consisting of at least 600 instructional hours at an approved school for Dental Assistants.
• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent, including or supplemented by a course of study consisting of at least 300 instructional hours at an approved school for Dental Assistants plus six months full-time satisfactory experience as a Dental Assistant performing all the following duties: taking, developing, and mounting dental radiographs, assisting dentist at chairside, sterilizing dental instrument using autoclave; or
• A four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent plus one year of full-time satisfactory experience as a Dental Assistant performing the duties described in 2 above; or
• A satisfactory combination of education and experience which is equivalent to 1, 2, or 3 above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year High School diploma or its educational equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Shift time: 8 am to 4 pm

  Pay Rate

• $35.00 per hour
