Overview:

The Class A CDL Delivery Driver will deliver items to each stop, as well as pickup items to be delivered to our W.B. Mason locations. This is an overnight position Sunday – Thursday, guaranteed home every day. Delivery locations will vary based on needs, but include Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo.

For candidates based in New York State, this position’s starting hourly range typically pays between $27 - $30.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Make sure all pick up and deliveries are delivered on time to ensure customer's satisfaction
• Provide timely deliveries as required
• Obtain signatures for delivery
• Resolve customer issues as appropriate
• May be exposed to varying weather conditions
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, traffic laws and regulations at all times

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. frequently
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical certificate
• Ability to pass pre-employment screens
• Outstanding customer service and communication skill

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

• Valid Class A CDL license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience with a favorable driving history
