Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Oakland, California. This position involves working 8 hours per week, primarily in-person, for a few months to support various administrative tasks. The role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy. Responsibilities: - Process donations in Salesforce on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate entry and record-keeping. - Prepare donor acknowledgments and gift receipts in a timely manner. - Provide support with accounts receivable tasks as needed. - Generate routine reports from Salesforce and conduct data backups. - Maintain organized systems for tracking and managing donor information. - Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency. - Perform regular audits of data to identify and correct errors. - Assist in streamlining data entry processes for improved efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems. - Strong typing skills and proficiency in numeric data entry. - Ability to manage time effectively and meet weekly deadlines. - Competence in handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality. - Basic understanding of accounts receivable processes is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Excellent organizational and communication skills.
