The Data Engineering Co-Op will work with the Analytics Team, which is focused on delivering value to the Diversified Analog Solutions Operations Team. You will develop and maintain data pipelines between our enterprise data warehouse and analytics platforms, ensuring reliable data integration and visualization capabilities. You will receive mentorship on data modeling, ETL processes, and business intelligence implementation.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing an M.S. in Statistics, Math, IS, Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
· Able to commit to the full duration onsite of the co-op opportunity (up to 6 months: June 2025 to December 2025)
Preferred Skills
· Strong communication skills with experience gathering requirements from cross - functional stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
· Designing and implementing robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks (Airflow, dbt, or similar) to facilitate seamless data transformation, enrichment, and loading across multiple enterprise systems
· Demonstrated experience with advanced data visualization tools and techniques (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data storytelling that drive business insights
· Proficiency in database design, schema modeling, and query optimization in SQL Server or similar RDBMS environments, with knowledge of indexing strategies and performance tuning
· Experience implementing comprehensive data quality frameworks including automated monitoring, validation processes, data lineage tracking, and remediation workflows to ensure data integrity across the organization
· Creating detailed documentation of data models, pipelines, and processes to support knowledge sharing and system maintenance
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
