Job Description

Summary

A Million Dreamz childcare is looking to hire a hard-working custodian to keep our facility clean, sanitary & aesthetically pleasing. The custodian will ensure the facility is tidy, clean and well-maintained inside and out. The custodian will sweep, mop and vacuum floors, and dust surfaces. You will clean walls, ceilings, windows and other surfaces. You will complete weed control in summer, rake leaves in fall and snow removal on sidewalks in winter. To ensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in your work. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding and dexterous. Full time position, 32-40 hours per week.
Candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check per WI DCF 251.

Duties

• Maintain common areas and assure they are dust and dirt free
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Collecting and taking out trash and recycling throughout the facility
• Clean inside of windows
• Maintain and assure the cleanliness of the offices, breakrooms and bathrooms
• Maintain building exterior and grounds
• Professional demeanor and comfortable working independently or on a team
• Task list provided

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
• Time-management and multitasking abilities
• Physical strength and stamina
• Organization skills
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check
