Grundfos is seeking a Continuous Improvement Associate Specialist. This position reports directly to the Engineering Supervisor and will operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
**Your main responsibilities:**
+ Work closely with direct manager and functional leadership to identify and drive key process improvement initiatives resulting in reduction of process waste.
+ Meet with functional stakeholders to understand respective process requirements and map processes ensuring all department interactions are clearly identified.
+ Facilitate systematic problem solving, implementing solutions to solve root-cause problems.
+ Develop and document key hand-offs between functional areas and ensure all departments have all key internal processes documented.
+ Utilize lean tools and principles including value stream maps, kaizen events and 5s reviews.
+ Implement lean manufacturing principles and facilitate cross-functional improvement teams with the objective of implementing lean manufacturing principles.
+ Promote the growth of continuous improvement capabilities across the business.
+ Utilize knowledge of customers, products, and processes to support business problem analysis and determine the best methodology to resolve defects or issues.
+ Conduct basic statistical analysis and support improvement efforts based on results. Analyze processes to identify areas of improvement and provide appropriate analytics to facilitate business effort prioritization.
+ Document procedure and process flow.
+ Assist with development of strategies for process improvements and evaluate the impact of such changes while actively participating in root cause analysis and process improvement efforts.
+ Manage Kaizens development and execution.
+ Report regularly to Plant Director and division Continuous Improvement on improvement initiatives.
**Your background:**
**We imagine that you have:**
+ A bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
+ Strong analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills.
+ A minimum of 0-3 years of relevant work experience within manufacturing and/or production.
+ Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and data analysis tools.
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
+ Ability to work in a high volume, deadline oriented collaborative environment.
+ Some exposure of theoretical understanding of Lean tools and techniques.
+ Ability to work within a manufacturing environment and contribute to business processes within Continuous Improvement or other relevant areas.
+ The ability to operate daily out of the Fresno, CA facility.
In Fresno, CA the annual salary range for this position is $69,065-$80,000. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
