Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects. The ideal candidate will assist in managing material and equipment, support people management, ensure complete documentation, and meet project goals to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. You will manage and work alongside company employees, create and implement project schedules, and make adjustments as needed in conjunction with the Project Manager.
Responsibilities - Plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects.
- Assist in managing material and equipment needs for the project.
- Support people management and ensure documentation is complete.
- Meet project goals to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project.
- Manage and work alongside company employees.
- Create, manage, and implement the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Evaluate progress on self-perform work and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the selection of formwork, tools, and equipment necessary for self-perform operations.
- Manage the timecard approval process to ensure accurate reporting of hours and proper cost codes.
- Partner with project management to identify schedule and costs associated with project changes.
Essential Skills - Proficiency in Blue Print reading.
- Proficiency in all tools and equipment needed to complete the project.
- Experience in commercial construction supervision.
- Experience as a superintendent with a general contractor.
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and practice of safety standards.
- Experience in tenant improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience in light commercial construction, including office tenant improvements and buildouts.
Work Environment
This role requires being on a job-site daily. The work environment will involve managing various construction activities and working closely with project management and company employees to ensure project success.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
