Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator in Kernersville, NC.

Shift: 1st Shift, 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate: $17/hour

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust machines that include hand rollers, benders, etc.
• Read and interpret traveler to determine what tooling to use.
• Use tape measures and calipers and other necessary measuring tools to determine correct dimensions and thickness of material.
• Create/Load programs and load tools into presses. This includes installing punches and dies, aligning tooling, setting up appropriate tonnage, and applying safe distance requirements.
• Read blueprint to determine if bends are correct.
• Develop set-up sheets for individual parts.
• Record all labor efficiently and consistently.
• Know and adhere to all machine safety rules.
• Follow work instructions to ensure job is being done correctly.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on the machines as designated by the Maintenance Manager.
• Perform secondary processes (ex. deburr, material handling, pems, handnotch, etc.) as required.

Other duties may be assigned.
