Job Description

We are looking for CNC Machine Operator for a busy aerospace component manufacturing company in Redlands. If you're passionate about precision machining and ready for an opportunity to sharpen your skills and learn new machinery this is the place. This is a temporary position with a duration of up to eighteen months.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of CNC Mills and Lathes machines to turn flat or curved surfaces on metal work pieces.
• Load & unload parts as instructed.
• Inspect your own work using a variety of measuring instruments to meet print requirements (Calipers, Micrometers, Drop Gages, Pin gages).
• Inspect parts and gears using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, keeping them in optimal working condition.
• Adjust offsets and / or replace tooling as required.
• Do basic setups and proofread programs to match print.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with CNC machinery experience
• 2+ years of machine operator and working with metals.
• Basic knowledge of CNC Controls
• Ability to read blueprints and work with various materials (stainless, cold-rolled, Titanium, and more)
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, morning shift 5 AM to 3:30 PM
