Compensation Grade Range:
$22.25- $24.35

JOB PURPOSE: To support Production Manager and Team members, Setting up and operating machines to support the rubber processing and fabrication process. Occasionally performing various functions at our Caterpillar Mossville Facility.
Position details: - Hiring for 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (7am-3:30pm)
- Starting Pay: $22.25
All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar: - Background Screening
- Drug Screening
- Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: - Sets up, operates, and adjusts calendaring machines to coat fabric and/or finish roll material to specified thickness
- Performs troubleshooting of processes in the rubber processing and/or rubber fabrication areas.
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work OT when required
- Demonstrating safety excellence and enforcing safety policies and procedures
Essential Job Functions: - Occasionally lift parts up to 50 pounds individually and infrequently up to 100 pounds as a team
- Occasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks
- Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed
- Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
- Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks
Basic and/or Desired Qualifications may include, but are not limited to: - Ability to read gauges and controls
- Manufacturing experience of experience in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills
- Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access
- Good attendance record
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete records
Top candidates will also have: - Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience
