Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

• The Chemical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in the aluminum can manufacturing process, with a focus on optimizing chemical processes, wastewater management, and improving overall plant efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Complete daily checklist and verification items.
• Ensure process parameters are in specification.
• mA reduction project – auditing process and compile data to support improvement opportunities.

Requirements :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree from a 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 GPA- highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience conducting research
• Self-starter
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently 
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
