Chef and House Management Couple (FT)

Live-In Details: Use of guest house in Miami and apt in Philadelphia. Open to offsite if from Miami and then travel for summer to Philly.

Days: 5 days a week (Two days off each week depending on schedule)

Hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation: $225,000 to $235,000 per Year

Additional Benefits: health insurance covered

A Miami Beach FL family is looking for a chef and house management couple who has experience working in a large home. Must have chef, housekeeping and household management experience.

Main Work Duties:

Private Chef:

• Menu planning tailored to dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Procuring high-quality, often organic or specialty ingredients.
• Preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks).
• Cooking for dinner parties, events, and holidays.
• Presentation and plating of all meals.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and pantry.
• Inventory and stock management.
• Collaborating with nutritionists or doctors if required.
• Managing food budgets and receipts.
• Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards.

Executive Housekeeper/Household Manager:

• Supervising and training housekeeping staff.
• Creating and maintaining cleaning schedules.
• Hands-on cleaning and organizing, as needed.
• Managing household inventories (cleaning supplies, linens, etc.).
• Overseeing laundry and wardrobe care.
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers.
• Scheduling maintenance and repairs.
• Event planning and execution support.
• Managing household budgets and petty cash.
• Reporting to principal and managing household calendars.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of related experience working in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
