Job Title: Business Analyst Regulatory Compliance

Location: Hybrid Role (3 Days Onsite/week) in either Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY.

Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract.

Job Description:-

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work closely on regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience interacting with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to support compliance initiatives.
• Analyze and interpret banking regulations, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to regulatory changes.
• Prepare and review regulatory reports, documentation, and submissions to governing authorities.
• Identify gaps in compliance and recommend process improvements to mitigate risk.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with regulatory agencies and internal teams.
• Conduct impact assessments for regulatory changes and assist in the implementation of necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, with a focus on regulatory work.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in interacting with regulatory bodies (e.g., OCC, FINRA, SEC, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
• Experience with financial institutions is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Basel III, Dodd-Frank, AML/KYC regulations, or other financial regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with business process improvement and risk assessment methodologies.
• Prior exposure to data analysis and reporting tools.
