Role Snapshot

• Location: Waukesha, WI
• Type: Temp-To-Hire
• Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift options: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Pay: $28.00 – $30.00/hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance: Minor drywall patching, door hardware repair/adjustment, lighting replacements.
• Inspect proactively: Conduct interior/grounds walkthroughs and document issues.
• Support PMs: Assist with preventive maintenance on essential building systems under supervision.
• Partner with pros: Provide hands-on support to licensed trades and contractors during repairs, installations, and projects.
• Monitor systems: Keep tabs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security; escalate any malfunctions.
• Handle logistics: Operate forklifts to safely load and unload transport trucks.
• Set up spaces: Execute office moves, assemble furniture, and reconfigure workstations.
• Manage inventory: Maintain clean, organized storage areas and tools; track supplies and request restocks.
• Respond to requests: Address minor service tickets and non-critical facility emergencies.
• Champion safety: Adhere to procedures to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/technical credential preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related trades.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance methods.
• Industrial forklift/lift truck experience.
• Strong organization, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
• Self-starter comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
• Proficient with maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communicator with solid interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
