Job Description

KMD Associates is recruiting a part-time Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant 


Job Details:

  • Looking for a part-time assistant for a small business. Responsibilities will include Bookkeeping and Office administration.

 

Responsibilities include:

Bookkeeping support:

  • Pick up bills from our mailbox weekly.
  • Checking some online bill portals for bill notices.
  • Put bills into accounting system and spread in chart of accounts.
  • Entering receivables into the accounting system and spread in chart of accounts. 
  • Prepare any supplemental material needed by our accountant or CEO.


Office Management support:

  • Assist General Manager in support tasks – outreach with some customers, create invoices, operational forms, and posting to web site, LinkedIn and other social media.
  • Work with General Manager to develop and streamline office processes
  • Assist Operations Manager in general tasks, supplies procurement, and some production data entry.
  • Some light office filing of bills/invoices - on office computers and file cabinets.
  • General software updates, as needed.
  • Assist CEO in certain business administration tasks.

 

Optional additional hours are available for special office projects as they may arise.

Requirements:
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks online.
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Good writing skills / highly organized.
  • Comfortable with new challenges outside of normal areas of experience.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn any of above/below areas if not directly familiar.
  • A plus; strong Spanish language skills.
