Godfrey Law, P.C. , is recruiting associate attorneys who are licensed to practice in Colorado, with at least 2 years of litigation experience. Some new law school graduates may also find a home with us if they have distinguished themselves in law school or through past work. Ours is a national practice; most of our caseload arises in Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, Utah and California. We use Apple computers and iPads. You will be assigned a firm laptop with external monitors, and an iPad for work in high-mobility settings. Our office is paperless; we use a very powerful document management system of our own design. (If you are not familiar with Apple products, worry not, for these systems are significantly easier to use than Windows.) Also, we are testing and using various AI platforms, including Westlaw Precision, Co-Counsel, Apple Intelligence and other platforms.

Qualifications: Applicants must be licensed to practice in Colorado; licensure in other states is also highly valued, but not required. Minimum qualifications include the ability to learn and follow detailed procedures and instructions, excellent research and writing abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage deadlines and meet hourly billing requirements. We highly value proven deposition and trial skills, client development skills, and excellent research and writing skills. Special talents in the fields of science, engineering, medicine, finance, aviation, business or accounting are also highly valuable.
Compensation: The starting salary for this position, depending upon experience and portability of business, is $110,000 to $155,000. Lawyers with greater experience and portable business will be paid even more. The firm also has a written bonus program that rewards business generation and productivity, which may add significantly to your compensation. We offer excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance for you and your family. We also have a 401K plan. The firm covers approved CLE expenses, bar dues, and approved marketing expenses to help you grow your client and referral network.
