Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical
Department/Division: Pediatrics/Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition
The Department of Pediatrics Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member specializing in Motility. Candidates will be at the assistant/associate professor level of the clinical educator track. Individuals must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida, board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology and Nutrition, and have demonstrated expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research—especially in the area of gastrointestinal motility disorders. Duties to include providing direct patient care to inpatients at the 250-bed Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and outpatients at clinic (including satellite) sites. Inpatient consult coverage and weekend on-call service also included. Additional desirable skills include expertise in quality improvement research and the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Creole.
