The Assistant Nurse Manager Maternal Healthwill enjoy working in this active unit with 20 Labor and Delivery beds and four Special Care Nursery beds. The Women’s and Children’s Service Line at this hospital sees 700 births annually. The unit is known for providing respectful care focused on patients' needs.
In this comprehensive role, the Assistant Nurse Manager Maternal Healthwill have the opportunity to enhance their leadership acumen, as the role oversees the administrative and operational functions of three units: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and the Special Care Nursery. This role reports to a dynamic and supportive Senior Administrative RN Manager of Women’s and Pediatric Health. This Assistant Nurse Manager Maternal Health will have an RN Supervisor and a Nurse Educator for support. Many of the experienced Nurses are RNC-OB and RNC-MNN certified. A team of 24/7 onsite Neonatologists and Anesthesiologists will also collaborate with this RN Leader.
