We have an exciting opportunity to join GF Hotels & Resorts and the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza as our Area Director of Sales & Marketing. You will be based at the Hilton, leading the sales effort for this beautiful and historic hotel, along with supporting additional assets as an Area leader. Our busy hotel is looking for a stellar area director of sales and marketing to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization • Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans • Analyze market trends to determine pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand • Recruit, train, and develop your team to serve your customers better • Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management • Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • High diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices • Must have full-service hotel DOSM experience, multi-unit experience highly preferred.
