Apprentice Installer - Construction

Location: Travel to customer locations required

Yankee Home , one of the most recognized and highly rated companies in the Northeast, is seeking an apprentice for our Bath and Shower Installation Teams! We are looking for hard-working, reliable employees looking for their start in our growing Chicopee office.

We are a growing office, and as we grow, we look to promote from within! Our apprentices frequently become Lead installers as they grow and perform well in their role.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Installation Support

• Assist Lead Installers in the demolition and installation of bath and shower systems
• Safely operate tools and equipment necessary for remodeling projects
• Take accurate measurements and follow specifications precisely

Site Preparation & Cleanup

• Maintain a clean and organized job-site
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

Customer Interaction

• Communicate courteously and professionally with homeowners
• Represent Yankee Home's core values of Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, and Listening

Working Conditions

• Full-time schedule with potential for overtime
• Work performed on residential job sites in various weather conditions
• Requires lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods

Ideal candidates will have:

• Some experience in bath and shower installation, carpentry, construction, or home remodeling.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measures.
• Knowledge of various power tools.
• Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe job site practices.
• Attention to detail.
• Great communication and customer service skills.

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr. with pay increases, promotions, and incentives available!
