The California Exposition and State Fair currently has multiple openings for seasonal employment for the following positions: Admissions - Cashier, Gateperson, Gateperson Perimeter, Monorail Driver and Monorail Usher.  Incumbents may perform a variety of duties during the California State Fair.

Working Conditions

Incumbent will follow all current state and county safety guidelines and may be exposed to extreme weather temperatures and airborne dust, fumes, vapors, chemicals, medical waste, and blood-borne pathogens. Some positions may require working outdoors, standing/sitting for long periods of time, walking or carrying items (e.g., tables, chairs, boxes of supplies) with or without assistance.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

• Additional online training may be required prior to employment
• Participation in DMV Pull Notice Program

• Must complete fingerprints through Live Scan
