Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for a 1st Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician located in Toledo, Ohio. This is a direct hire opportunity for a motivated individual who will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support production operations and enhance workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults and develop effective solutions
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical maintenance preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or in a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to work 1st shift hours
